ET Award to Achyuta Samanta .Hall of Fame Award at World CSR Congress

Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS has been awarded as successful entrepreneur, among top 50 entrepreneurs of India, at Economic Times (ET) Entrepreneurship Summit 2015 held in New Delhi on February 26, 2015. He received award from Shri Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Hon’ble Union Minister of State (Ind.) for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship and Shri Amitabh Kant, Secretary, Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion.

The Summit culminated with the launch of a coffee table book that celebrates the achievements of entrepreneurial stalwarts, who have made outstanding contributions in their field of work. It is a matter of pride that Economic Times has selected Dr. Samanta from Odisha as a successful entrepreneur among top 50 entrepreneurs of India and also featured him in the coffee table book.

Some other eminent personalities who have featured in the list are: Sunil Bharti Mittal, Gautam Adani, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, Anil Agarwal, Grandhi Mallikarjuna Rao, Nagavara Ramarao Narayana Murthy, Shiv Nadar, Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, Onkar Kanwar, Karsanbhai Khodidas Patel, Babasaheb Neelkanth Kalyani, Kishore Biyani, Brijmohan Lall Munjal, Sudhakar Adapa, Shyam Bhartia, Alias Bhartia, Prathap C. Reddy, Naresh Trehan, Ronnie Screwalla, Pradeep Jain, Dr. Mahesh Gupta, Dr. Mukesh Batra, Dinesh Shahra, Ratul Puri, Shashi Kiran Shetty, Kunal bahl, H.K Mittal, Vijay Karia and Shrikant Bhasi.

In another development, Dr. Samanta received the Hall of Fame Award at World CSR Congress held recently in Mumbai. He also delivered keynote address to 200 corporate leaders of world.

Similarly, Dr. Samanta presented the KISS Model at African Head of Mission Summit, where as many as 42 ambassadors of different African countries were present. All appreciated the model of KISS. They discussed about KISS model with Dr. Samanta and agreed to implement it in some of the countries of Africa for eradication of poverty through education in true sense. It is a pride for KISS and Odisha as a whole.
