71st Independence day celebrated at KIIT and KISS
71st Independence Day was celebrated in Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) and KIIT University with great vigor and verve. Dr. B.N. Nanda, Senior Economic Adviser, Government of India, attended the celebration as chief guest and hoisted the National Flag. He also took the salute at the parade of the students. Among others, Saswati Bal, President, KIIT & KISS, Dr. Achyuta Samanta, R. N. Dash, Secretary, KIIT & KISS, Prashant Routray, CEO, KISS were also present. After flag hoisting, march-past was performed by the students of KISS. The students also performed colourful cultural programmes. Erik along with a high level delegation visited various campuses of KIIT and the various departments of KISS. On this occasion addressing 25,000 students of KISS.
