Speaking on the occasion of the inauguration of the KIIT International Model United Nations (KIIT-IMUN) at KIIT Convention Centre, Bhubaneswar, Odisha (India), attended by over two thousand students from India and abroad, Hon’ble Founder KIIT and KISS, Shri Achyuta Samanta said that the initiative will go a long way in inculcating in the students a sense of belongingness to the entire world and sensitize them regarding the importance of global peace and the pervasive role of the United Nations. Shri Samant urged the entire student community to emulate and imbibe the right character in them for ushering the world into peaceful existence and make life more meaningful for the present and the future inhabitants of the world. He emphasized that besides health and wealth what is of utmost importance is Character and Peace; if character and peace are lost the whole humanity is lost.
