Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS was felicitated for his remarkable work in the field of education and social work at the 17th NHRDN Conference in Kolkata recently. The award was presented by Mr. Rajeev Dubey, National President, NHRDN, and also the President, Group HR & Executive Board Member, Mahindra & Mahindra at a glittering ceremony attended by corporate bigwigs.

The citation noted Kalinga Institute of Social Studies (KISS), where more than 20,000 tribal children are given boarding, food and education from KG to PG level along with all other basic amenities of life free of cost, as one-of-a-kind effort in India.

The Conference, partnered by KSOM, deliberated on “Building Sustainable Organizations” and emphasized on the manpower needs of businesses in today’s times and how the education sector can help.
